Brand Guidelines
Everything you need to represent Web Orbit consistently — across products, campaigns, and every corner of the web. One brand, in orbit.
Logo Usage
The Web Orbit mark pairs an orbiting satellite with a solid core — a symbol of connection, momentum, and the web revolving around our users. Treat it with room to breathe and never redraw it.
Clear space
Keep clear space equal to the height of the orbit core (×) on all sides. Never crowd the mark with text or graphics.
Minimum size
To keep the satellite legible, never reproduce the logo below these sizes.
Always scale proportionally. Export as SVG for web and vector PDF/EPS for print.
Logo misuse
These treatments break the brand. If in doubt, use an approved asset unaltered.
Color Palette
A cosmic core of deep space ink, energized by orbit violet and signal cyan. Use violet as the primary brand color, cyan for interaction and accents, and keep backgrounds calm. Click any swatch to copy its hex.
Neutral ramp
Usage ratio
Follow a 60 / 30 / 10 balance so the brand feels calm, not neon.
60% neutral · 30% violet · 10% cyan & accents
Accessibility
Maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for body text. Orbit Violet and Nebula Ink pass AA on white; never set body copy in Signal Cyan or Solar Amber on light backgrounds — reserve those for large text, accents, and icons.
Typography
Two typefaces carry the brand: Space Grotesk for expressive display and headlines, and Inter for clean, highly legible body copy. Space Mono adds a technical accent for labels and code.
Type scale
Icon Style
Icons are geometric, friendly, and drawn on a 24px grid with a consistent 2px stroke, round caps, and round joins. Outline style only — no fills, no duotone.
Grid & stroke
Draw on a 24×24 grid with 2px live area padding. Keep strokes at 2px; scale strokes with size so weight stays optically even.
Corners
Use 2px corner radius and rounded caps/joins to match the friendly, geometric feel of the logo.
Color
Default to Orbit Violet or currentColor. Use a single accent color per icon — never gradients or multi-color fills.
Illustration Style
Illustrations are light, spatial, and optimistic — orbits, rings, satellites, and gradient planets on deep space backdrops. Geometric shapes, soft glows, and generous negative space keep them modern and uncluttered.
Do
Use geometric orbits, gradient spheres, thin rings, and star flecks. Anchor scenes in Nebula Ink with violet/cyan accents.
Avoid
No heavy drop shadows, skeuomorphism, stock 3D clip-art, or crowded compositions. Keep it airy.
Motion
When animated, favor slow, elliptical orbital motion and gentle fades — nothing bouncy or frenetic.
Tone of Voice
Web Orbit sounds like a brilliant, encouraging teammate: clear, human, and quietly confident. We make complex things feel effortless and never talk down to anyone.
Clear
Plain language over jargon. If a 12-year-old wouldn't get it, rewrite it.
Human
Warm and conversational. We write like we talk — to a person, not a crowd.
Confident
We know our craft. Direct and reassuring, never arrogant or hype-y.
Optimistic
Forward-looking and encouraging. We celebrate progress and momentum.

✕ We never sound like
- "Leverage our synergistic paradigm."
- "Utilize the aforementioned functionality."
- "Error 0x0000. Contact administrator."
- "OMG this is literally the BEST!!!"

- Use corporate jargon, hype, or all-caps shouting.
- Add drop shadows, bevels, or 3D clip-art illustrations.
- Crowd elements together with no breathing room.
Social Media Style
Consistent, recognizable feeds: cosmic backgrounds, big Space Grotesk headlines, a small logo lockup, and one clear message per post. Leave breathing room and keep the palette tight.

Templates
Feed 1080×1080, Story/Reel 1080×1920, Link card 1200×630. Keep the logo in a consistent corner across a series.
Captions
Lead with value in the first line. Short sentences, one idea, one CTA. Use 3–5 focused hashtags, e.g. #WebOrbit #WebDev.
Consistency
Rotate between Nebula Ink and brand-gradient backgrounds so the grid stays varied but unmistakably Web Orbit.
